Transit (Domestic) Removal Insurance
Our reputation for care and security means that we can offer customers extremely competitive rates of insurance for goods in transit. Your effects will be insured for the declared value up to a maximum of £100,000 whilst in our care. Additional premiums will apply for values over £50,000.
Storage Insurance
For goods in storage, it is essential that they are covered with a separate fire insurance policy - this can be arranged by us on your behalf. Unless we are instructed otherwise, we will automatically insure your effects to the value of £100,000.
Claims
Despite everybody’s best intentions, accidents do happen from time to time. In the event of loss or damage, notice should be given to Wentworth via email within 45 days after delivery or 60 days after the scheduled delivery date, in the event of non- delivery. It is important that at the time of notification, full details of any losses and /or damages are provided. Following your initial notification, you are allowed a further 45 days to forward documentation in support of your claim. Finally, we all have possessions which have sentimental value. Unfortunately, you cannot claim for distress, loss of use, consequential loss or sentimental value.
