The British Association of Removers is dedicated to promoting excellence in the Removals Industry for the benefit of its members and customers. BAR represent over 500 of the UK’s leading professional removal and storage companies of which we are proud members, all of which are covered by the OFT Approved BAR Code of Practice.
The British Association of Removers Overseas Group is a dedicated group of companies within the British Association of Removers that specialise in all aspects of overseas removals. Members must meet strict standards and are regularly inspected to make sure that their facilities, equipment, staff training and operational procedures remain at the highest level.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent non-governmental body, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. The FSA have been given a wide range of rule-making, investigatory and enforcement powers in order to meet their four statutory objectives. In meeting these, they are also obliged to have regard to the Principles of Good Regulation.

Much of this work is centred around lobbying at the EU Parliament and Commission as well as liaising with National associations.
The Household Goods Forwarders Association of America is a global association of forwarders and movers committed to providing customers with the highest level of service available. HHGFAA has a worldwide membership of over 2,000 companies from more than 165 countries and territories.
The FIDI's mission is to provide a forum for the advancement of integrity, quality, and mutual co-operation to those companies focused on the intercontinental movement of household effects and to carry out programs and studies designed to help promote affiliates' competitiveness within the international moving and storage marketplace.
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry. RHA also use their buying power to negotiate exclusive savings on a range of key haulage services, saving Members time and money.
The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries, one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.
